Mr Coutts from Baradene College in Auckland visited France for two weeks to see the school we are partnered with in Chauny. He met five classes of students at Lycée Professionnel Gay Lussac and met with the teachers there to plan the project. He said it was a really great trip and he came back with photos to show us. The photos (above) are from his visit. Mr Coutts also looked at many places for us to visit next year when we will travel to France. We hope some of the students at Gay Lussac will...
McColl.
{I tried to find information about my great-great uncle; but unfortunately it was very difficult. I...
Hello again!
Its been a whole month already. I have unfortunately been snowed under with school work and as much as I hate to admit it, Young Ambassadors has taken a bit of a backseat! I will make sure that this won’t happen too often and that I keep chipping away at my project.
Over the past week I have been getting in contact with local papers to promote the sharedhistories site and Young Ambassadors trip. I am hoping that they will get back in contact with me soon so I can share what we...

The outline of the history internal is to “research one historical event or place that is of significance to New Zealanders.” I stated the aim of my research...
Salut à tous!
I would like to start off by thanking the Awapuni Rotary and Milson Rotary Clubs from Palmerston North for their very generous donations towards the cost of the Young Ambassadors trip. It is much appreciated, and I look forward to speaking to them about the trip and my project outcomes.
On the 18th of March, the Manawatu Standard published an article about the Young Ambassadors Tour. I have included a picture of the article above. There is an important correction I would like to...
Bonjour tout le monde! Mars était un mois très occupé pour moi! Ma évaluation de l'histoire était dû cette mois, donc plus de mon temps était dépensé travaillé à fini ça.
In History, our internal was to ‘Research an historical event/place of significance to New Zealanders, using primary and secondary sources’, and my topic was, of course, the First World War. I chose to focus my inquiry on a topic that I could use also for my Young Ambassador personal inquiry, so I researched ‘Soldier’s lives...
